A 35 year-old-man has been charged with a pedlar offence in Norwich.
It follows a report at 4:50pm on Sunday 3 December of two men going door to door offering to sell household items such as cloths and scissors on Hughenden Road. Officers responded and arrested a man in his 30s on City Road, shortly before 6.40pm for not having a pedlar’s certificate and he was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Andrew Millward, aged 35 and of Fairfax Court, Middlesbrough was charged on Monday (4 November 2023) with acting as a pedlar without a pedlar’s certificate.
He was bailed with conditions not to enter Norfolk ahead of his next court appearance on 2 January 2024.
