Woman charged following incident in Bradwell

A woman who was arrested in connection with an incident in Bradwell last week (10 November 2022) has been charged with assault.

It follows an incident on Mace Road when officers were called after a man in his 40s was found with a stab wound outside an address at 10.44pm. He continues to be treated at James Paget Hospital and his condition is described as stable at this time.

Marquita Kershaw, aged 39, of Mace Road, Bradwell has been charged with malicious wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. She was remanded in custody and appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Saturday 12 November 2022. She has since been released on bail with conditions until Monday 12 December 2022.

The 17-year-old who was also arrested has been bailed with conditions until Wednesday 16 November 2022.

A woman in her 20s, has also since been arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail until Friday 10 February 2023.

All persons involved are known to each other and no other suspects are being sought at this time.

Police have launched an investigation following an incident last night (10 November 2022) in Bradwell.

Officers were called after a man in his 40s was found with a stab wound outside an address in Mace Road at 10.44pm. He is being treated at James Paget Hospital and his condition is described as stable at this time.

A woman in her 30s and a 17-year-old have since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the incident and are being questioned at Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre. No-one else is currently being sought in relation to this incident.
