Woman bailed following statue damage

A woman arrested in connection with damage to a statue in Norwich has been released on police bail.

Officers received a report on Monday 6 July that the Nelson’s statue in Cathedral Close had been damaged.

A woman, aged in her late teens, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage yesterday (Thursday 9 July). She has since been release on police bail, pending further enquiries, until Monday 3 August 2020.
