Witnesses sought following Norwich attempted robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery in Norwich last Saturday (2 September 2017)

It happened at approximately 6pm on Heigham Grove in the city, when the victim, a man aged in his 50s, was driving into the cul-de-sac.

He stopped his car to let two men and a dog cross when one of these men opened the victim's car door and went to grab a bag which was on the passenger seat.

The victim grabbed his bag and the suspect left empty handed.

He is described as white, approximately 6ft tall aged in his early 20s. The dog was off its lead and described as being similar to a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
