Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in St. Olaves last month.

It happened at a property in Priory Road between 7.25am and 5pm on Thursday 16 June, when suspect(s) have broken in via an insecure rear door.

An untidy search of the bedrooms has been carried out and offender(s) have stolen a silver Tag Heur watch.

Detective Constable Gary Brown, who’s overseeing the investigation, said: "The victim gave the watch as a wedding present to her late husband. As you can imagine this has high sentimental value and the victim is very keen to get the watch back.

"I would encourage anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area or has been offered a watch that matches the description for sale, to contact police.”

Witnesses should contact DC Gary Brown at Great Yarmouth CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
