Police continue to investigate Norwich deaths

Police are continuing to investigate the deaths of a man and a woman in Norwich.

Officers were called to an address in Middleton Crescent at 11.30am on Saturday 31 July 2021 following concerns for safety.

On arrival officers found the bodies of a man and a woman, inside the property.

Post-mortem examinations for both the man and the woman have proved inconclusive and the cause of their deaths remains unknown pending further enquiries.

Whilst officers are treating their deaths as unexplained at this time, they do not believe anyone else was involved. Officers will continue to make enquiries in order to prepare a file for the coroner ahead of an inquest which will take place in due course.

Police are continuing to investigate the deaths of a man and a woman in Norwich.

Officers were called to an address in Middleton Crescent at 11.30am on Saturday 31 July 2021 following concerns for safety. On arrival they found the bodies of a man and a woman.

The deaths are being treated as unexplained at this time. Post mortem examinations to establish the cause of death and formal identification procedures will take place in due course.

Detective Inspector Matt Stuart said: “Officers are continuing to make enquiries to establish the circumstances leading up to the man and woman’s death. However, we do believe this is an isolated incident and we are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with it.”

Police are investigating the deaths of two people in Norwich.

Officers were called to an address in Middleton Crescent at 11.30am on Saturday 31 July 2021 following concerns for safety.

On arrival officers have found the bodies of a man and a woman inside the property.

A cordon has been placed around the address whilst officers work to establish the circumstances leading up to their deaths, which are being treated as unexplained at this time.

Detective Inspector Matt Stuart said: “We are still in the very early stages of our investigation and officers are working to establish the events leading up to these deaths. However, whilst we must keep an open mind about the circumstances, our initial enquiries lead us to believe this is an isolated incident.”
