Motorcyclist dies in A10 crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the A10 at Hilgay yesterday.

The incident happened at about 11.50am on the A10 at the junction with Modney Bridge Road and involved two motorcycles and a 4x4.

The second motorcycle, a Honda 599, took avoiding action but collided with the kerb, causing the rider, a man in his 30s, to come off and suffer minor injuries.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and collision investigations carried out. It was re-opened at about 5.15pm.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning the driving/riding manner of either vehicle prior to the collision.

Witnesses should contact Sgt Peter Howlett at Swaffham Roads Policing on 101.
