Men arrested following assault in Cromer

Three men have been arrested in connection with an assault in Cromer.

The incident happened at approximately 8.30pm on Thursday 9 September along Runton Road. Four victims, three men and one woman were reportedly approached by a group of unknown men, before being verbally abused.

Glass bottles were then thrown towards the victims before one of the male victims was kicked by one of the suspects.

The victims, all aged in their 20s, suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.

Three men, two aged in their 20s and the other aged in his late teens, were arrested yesterday (Monday 27 September) in connection with the incident. They have all been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

 

Appeal following assault in Cromer

Police are appealing for information following an assault in Cromer on Thursday 9 September.

The incident happened at approximately 8.30pm on Runton Road when four victims, three men and one woman, all aged in their 20s, were approached by four unknown men.

The suspects verbally abused the victims before throwing glass bottles towards them. One of the suspects then assaulted one of the male victims by kicking him. He suffered minor injuries as a result of the attack.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information concerning it to come forward.
