Man in serious condition after Yarmouth assault

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Great Yarmouth which happened yesterday (Monday 6 June 2017).

The victim, a man aged in his 40s, was walking on York Road at approximately 4.50pm when he spoke with an unknown male who approached him soon after. This man has then assaulted the victim causing him to fall to ground hitting his head.

He was taken to James Padget Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The suspect is described as a white male aged in his late 30s to early 40s, of a large build, approx. 5ft 8in tall with short shaven hair. He was wearing a beige t-shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms.
