Residents living in the Dereaham, Swaffham and Watton areas will get the chance to meet with their local officers after the bank holiday weekend.

PCSO Daren Smith and PCSO Michala Benton will be holding a surgery on board the No 11 Konnect bus service when it departs at 10.25am on Tuesday 2 May 2017 from Dereham in the Market Place.

PCSO Daren Smith said: "We are delighted to extend this project to the more rural communities we serve. This will be a great opportunity to meet passengers and listen to their experiences and issues. From now on we will be on board the No 11 bus weekly and look forward to meeting members of the community.”

A spokesman for KonnectBus said, "We are pleased to welcome the PCSOs on board our route 11 which links the market towns of Swaffham, Watton and Dereham, and villages in between. The route which caters for workers, students and shoppers is an important part of the local community".

The event will give local people the chance to speak with their local PCSOs to discuss any issues or concerns they may have and find out what's being done to keep the community safe.
