Drugs warrant leads to cannabis seizure in Cromer

Officers in North Norfolk have seized cannabis and mobile phones, following the execution of a drugs warrant.

Last night (Thursday 3 September 2020), police visited a property in Christophers Close, Northrepps with a warrant, following information from the community.

During the execution of the warrant, a quantity of cannabis and a number of mobile phones were seized from the property.

An investigation will continue into the discovery of the items.

Sergeant Matt Blake, of the North Norfolk policing team said: “We take drug dealing and the associated anti-social behaviour very seriously.

“Last night’s seizure is a great example of the impact a community can have when they report suspicious behaviour to us. They are often our eyes and ears, and can help us tackle disruptive activity, and its associated crimes.

We would encourage members of the public to continue to report anti-social and suspicious behaviour to us, either via our website, or our 101 telephone number.”
