Drug dealers jailed for eight years

Two men have been imprisoned for a total of eight years for supplying class A drugs in Norwich having been convicted at an earlier hearing.

Nathaniel Dunkley, 38, from Warley Hill, Warley, Brentwood, and Twayne White, 20, from Hainault Road, London were both arrested by Police in Norwich on 22 February 2016 having been found in Possession of a quantity of Crack Cocaine and Heroin.

An Investigation by the Norwich Neighbourhood Policing Team found that the pair had targeted the home address of a vulnerable occupant in order to facilitate the Supply of Class A Drugs as part of an organised supply chain operating from London.

Nathaniel Dunkley was sentenced on Monday 11 September to a total of five years imprisonment having been found guilty of Possession of Heroin, and Crack Cocaine with Intent to Supply and a further offence of Possessing Criminal Property.

Twayne White, who was also jailed on the same day, was sentenced to a total of three years imprisonment having pleaded guilty to Possession of Heroin, and Crack Cocaine with Intent to Supply at an earlier hearing in June 2016.

The officer in case, PC Craig Bidwell, said: "I hope that this sentence demonstrates our determination to pursue those people intent on targeting the most vulnerable people in society in order to facilitate their criminality. Under Operation Gravity we continue to work tirelessly with our partner agencies to tackle the issue of county lines drug supply in our region and this sentencing is a welcomed result.”
