Death of man in Norwich not being treated as suspicious

Police investigating the death of a man in Norwich last month have confirmed they are not treating the incident as suspicious.

Officers were called to Normandie Tower, off Rouen Road, just before 6.30pm on Friday 5 June 2020 following reports a man had fallen from the building.

Police arrived on the scene to find a man with serious injuries but despite resuscitation attempts, the man, aged in his 20s, died at the scene.

Pending formal Coroner inquest proceedings, police provisionally identified the deceased as Craig Stubbs aged 29.

Following enquiries, officers can confirm they are not treating the death as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner ahead of an inquest which will take place in due course.

Officers can also confirm there will be no further action against a woman, aged in her 30s, who was arrested in connection with the incident.
