Police are appealing to the public to check their sheds and outbuildings for Norman Carter who has been missing from Sheringham for more than a week.
Officers are asking people living in the Sheringham area to check their sheds, outbuildings and gardens in the search for the 92-year-old and to call police if they have any information.
Inspector Marie Reavey, who is leading the search, said: “It has now been over a week since Norman went missing and I’m sorry to say there hasn’t been any sign of him. Clearly this is very concerning, and his family and friends are desperate to know where he is.
“We have carried out extensive searches for Norman over the past week, and these will continue. As part of this ongoing search, I am urging anybody who lives in Sheringham to please check any sheds or outbuildings on their property as well as their gardens and contact us immediately if they have any information that could us help us find him.”
Norman was last seen walking along Cromer Road, between Jubilee Drive and Beeston Common, towards West Runton at around 5pm on Tuesday 23 May 2023.

Officers have made house-to-house enquiries, checked CCTV footage, carried out extensive searches involving volunteers from Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue, police dogs and drone units and investigated reported sightings.
These searches are now being extended to cover a wider area around Sheringham and the coastguard will be joining search efforts.
Enquiries are also continuing to be made into whether Norman has travelled out of the county.
As well as asking people to check their gardens, police would like to hear from anyone who may have been travelling in the Cromer Road area on Tuesday afternoon and evening and may have relevant dashcam footage.
Anyone with doorbell camera footage in the area is also asked to get in touch.
Anyone with information should contact Norfolk Police on 101 quoting CAD 82 of 25 May 2023.
Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing 92-year-old man from Sheringham and are issuing a renewed appeal for help to find him.

As part of the renewed appeal, officers are issuing a new image of Norman, showing the outfit he is believed to have been wearing when he went missing,
The new image shows him wearing a hat, navy coat, pale shirt, blue jeans, and brown shoes.
Norman could be in the Sheringham area though it is possible he has travelled elsewhere.
Sergeant Daisy Norman said: “Clearly as time moves on, we are becoming increasingly concerned for Norman’s welfare. Searches have been carried out in the local area with the support of Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue and these continue. We’ve also been examining local CCTV in efforts to establish Norman’s movements and we now know he visited Tesco on Tuesday, not Wednesday as originally thought.
“Norman was captured on CCTV leaving the Tesco store on Tuesday and then a short time later walking down Cromer Road. This is the last known sighting of him and shows what he was wearing. We hope this might help to jog people’s memories. If anyone has seen Norman or know of his current whereabouts please call police immediately.”
