Arrests after Great Yarmouth shop burglary

Four men have been arrested after a shop was broken into in Great Yarmouth.

In the early hours of this morning (Thursday 5 January 2023), a shop at the entrance to Market Gates Shopping Centre was broken into.

A glass window and a number of cabinets were smashed, and fragrance bottles valued at approximately £300 were taken during the burglary.

Following enquiries, officers have arrested four men in connection with the incident.

One man, aged 40, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft.

One man, aged 35, and one man aged 23 were each arrested on suspicion of burglary.

One man, aged 55, was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

 All four men were taken to Great Yarmouth Police Station where they will be questioned in due course.
