Appeal to trace siblings from Cromer school who could help with police investigation

Detectives investigating historic offences are appealing for help in tracing a brother and sister who attended a boarding school in north Norfolk in the 1970s.

Officers believe the siblings, only known as Bryan and Wendy, could be potential witnesses and have important information which could help with an ongoing investigation.

Bryan was the older brother of Wendy and both attended the Colne Cottage Boarding Home in Cromer in 1975 to 1976.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Natalie McCormack said: “We’re keen to hear from anyone who may know of the siblings or from Bryan and Wendy themselves. We’ve carried out numerous enquiries in efforts to identify and trace them but all have been unsuccessful and we’re hoping the public might be able to help.”

If you believe you are one of the siblings or you think you know who they are, please contact DC Natalie McCormack at Norfolk Constabulary on 101 quoting reference 36/29115/18 or email [email protected].

Due to the nature of the appeal, we will not confirm any further information about the investigation for disclosure purposes.
