Appeal following serious collision in Repps with Bastwick

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Repps with Bastwick.

Officers were called to the A149 High Road close to the B1152 Mill Lane at 6.10pm on Friday 15 September following reports of a two-vehicle collision.

A silver Nissan Qashqai collided with a red and white Lotus Elise.

The driver of the Lotus was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Nissan was taken to the James Paget Hospital as a precaution.

The road was closed whilst emergency services including ambulance and fire attended the scene. It reopened at around 12:30am.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or witnessed the manner of driving prior to the incident. Those with information or relevant dashcam footage are asked to contact PC Phil Writer at Swaffham Police Station on 101 quoting reference NC-15092023-404.
