The incident happened shortly before 11:15am on Gorgate Road when a metal pole came off the back of a flatbed van whilst travelling. The pole then collided with the windscreen of a Vauxhall Mokka.

The driver and passenger in the Vauxhall Mokka suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.
