Appeal following burglaries in Norwich

Police are appealing for witnesses to two burglaries which took place in Norwich last week.

The first incident happened at approximately 1.30pm on Thursday 9 September. The occupant of an address in Gunton Lane was watching TV when a man walked into their property. On seeing the occupant the man ran away, however the following day a handbag was found to be missing.

The second incident happened at an address in Norwich Road a short time later, at approximately 1.45pm. It’s believed the occupant was distracted by a knock at the window before someone entered the property and stole a handbag.

Officers are reminding residents to keep their doors and windows secure at all times following these incidents which are being linked.
