Appeal after serious collision - Upwell

Police are appealing for information or dashcam footage after a motorbike collision at Upwell on Sunday morning (19 July 2020) left the rider with severe leg injuries.

At 9.20am the grey and orange Honda motorbike crashed on the A1101 Town Street near to the Upwell Methodist Church and the rider, in his 20s, suffered a serious leg injury and was taken by air ambulance to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.  

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision and also the manner of riding prior to the collision on the A47, Elm and Wisbech areas. The rider was wearing a distinctive orange bike helmet.

The rider remains in a serious condition in Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
