Man dies in Terrington collision

Police can confirm a man has died following a collision on the A17 at Terrington St Clement last night (Monday 30 December 2019).

The incident happened at about 7.20pm near to the junction of Market Lane involving a red Ford Focus and a white DAF lorry.

The driver of the Focus, a man in his 30s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the lorry suffered leg injuries.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and re-opened at 1.50am this morning (Tuesday 31 December 2019).

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has information concerning the driving manner of either vehicle prior to the incident.

Motorists with dash cams, who were travelling in the area around the time, are also urged to check their footage for anything which could help officers with their enquiries.
