Serious collision in Thetford car park

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious road collision in a car park in Thetford yesterday afternoon, Monday 30 October.

It happened around 2.45pm at the Forest Retail Park on London Road, where a BMW 320I has been in collision with a parked Renault Traffic van and a male, who has been standing at the rear of the van.

The BMW has also then been in collision with two more parked cars, a BMW 116 and a Vauxhall Zafira.

The man, aged in his 50s, suffered serious head and chest injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where he remains.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or the manner of any of the vehicles prior to it.
