Cyclist injured in collision with car

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fail to stop collision involving a car and a cyclist in Costessey. 
The incident happened on Tuesday (26 May 2020) between 7.30pm and 7.45pm on Ringland Lane when a car was involved in a collision with a cyclist, knocking the rider off the road. The cyclist, a woman in her 30s, fell into a ditch. 
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics attended and rescued the woman from the ditch. She was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with head injuries. 
The vehicle involved failed to stop at the scene and officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have been travelling in the area around the same time.
