Man arrested after stabbing in Norwich

Officers have arrested a man after a stabbing in Norwich this evening (Friday 26 January).

Police were called to a property on Gertrude Road shortly before 5pm following reports a man had been stabbed in the back. The man was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment for his injuries and is said to be in a stable condition

The suspect, a man in his thirties, has been detained and is awaiting questioning.
