Appeal following fatal collision in Burnham Overy

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road collision on the A149 at Burnham Overy last week (Saturday 24 August 2019).

Police were called at 10.48pm to reports of a collision on Tower Road involving one vehicle, a silver VW Golf, which left the road and crashed into a wall.

The driver, a man in his 20’s was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn but sadly died two days later (Monday 26 August). The passenger, a male in his 20s was also taken to the hospital and suffered serious leg injuries.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, has dashcam footage or may have information concerning the driving manner of the car prior to the crash.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A149 at Burnham Overy last night.

The incident happened on Tower Road at about 10.48pm involving one vehicle, a silver VW Golf, which left the road and crashed into a wall.

The driver and passenger, both men, suffered serious injuries and were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn for treatment.
