Boy suffers broken jaw in Norwich assault

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which occurred in Norwich this week.

The incident happened at approximately 9pm on Monday 18 September 2017 in Eaton Park, South Park Avenue, when a 14-year-old boy was approached by a group of people, some of whom were known to him.

The suspect/s have then assaulted the victim leaving him with a broken jaw, damage to his hearing and a cut to his head which required hospital treatment.

The boy is now at home recovering from his injuries.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the assault.
