Detectives investigating Great Ellingham burglaries


Police are investigating two burglaries in the Great Ellingham area.

The first incident happened sometime between 7.30am and 3.30pm yesterday (Monday 20 November) at an address in Watton Road where suspect(s) have smashed a window to gain entry. An untidy search has been carried out and four jewellery boxes, containing rings, necklaces and earrings, have been stolen.

The second happened between 2pm on Sunday 19 November and 3.20pm on Monday 20 November at a property in Bow Street. A rear window has been smashed to gain entry and an untidy search of the address has been carried out. It is not believed that anything has been stolen at this stage.

Detectives are linking these incidents and are asking anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area between the times stated to contact Detective Constable Ellie Knul at Thetford CID on 101.
