Assault in Ormesby

Police are appealing for information following an assault in Ormesby.

It happened at around 7pm on Tuesday 19 February.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was driving a grey VW Golf along the A149 when he became aware of a dark coloured Range Rover with its headlights repeatedly flashing.

The victim pulled over into a lay-by before the passenger of the Range Rover approached him and slashed his face with what is believed to be a stanley knife.

The suspect returned to the Range Rover which drove off.
