Dog stolen in Smallworth burglary

Police are investigating after a West Highland Terrier was stolen during a burglary in Smallworth at the beginning of the month.

A property was broken into between 11am and midnight on Monday 6 November and the seven year old dog, Guinness, is the only thing which was stolen.

DS Mark Glister said, "The offence of burglary of your home is a horrible crime for any victim to experience. But as in this case, where the victim has had their much loved pet taken, makes that impact so much more shocking and deplorable.

"I am appealing to any persons who may have information about this crime, to contact Thetford CID on 101. Alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
