Lynn teen charged with possession of a knife

A teenager has been charged with possession of a knife in a public place following an incident in King’s Lynn over the weekend.

It’s after officers stopped a man on Burkitt Street in the town around 5pm on Saturday 17 February and seized a knife.

18-year-old Liam Cook, of St Edmundsbury Road in King’s Lynn was arrested and subsequently charged in connection with the incident.

Cook was remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court today, Monday 19 February 2018.
