Man sadly dies following Horstead road collision

A man has sadly died following a road collision in Horstead over the weekend.

It happened around 9pm on Saturday 16 December, when a male cyclist has collided with the kerb and come off his bike on Norwich Road.

The male, aged in his 50s, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with serious head injuries, where he has since sadly died.

The road was closed whilst emergency services attended; however was reopened around 3am.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, particularly any drivers who have dash cam footage and saw the cyclist riding along Wroxham Road, Church Street and Norwich Road.
