Teenage girl approached in Gorleston

Officers are appealing for witnesses to an incident which took place in Gorleston last week.

It happened sometime between 2.15pm and 2.25pm on Wednesday 11 October 2017, when the victim, a girl aged in her teens, was standing at a bus stop near to the junction of Crab Lane and King's Road in the town.

A man driving a silver car has approached the girl and made inappropriate comments towards her before a member of the public has confronted the driver and he has driven away.

As a result of the incident, the victim has been left feeling alarmed and distressed.

PC Richard Bennett from Great Yarmouth Police Station would like to hear from any who witnesses, particularly anyone who was driving in the area and could have dash cam footage of the incident.
