Burglary and theft charges
A 47-year-old Norwich man will appear in court this morning (Monday 15 April 2019) charged with burglary, theft and motoring offences.
Anthony Eames, of William White Place, is accused of two counts of burglary following incidents at the Castle pub, in Spitalfields, on 1 April and Bishops Dining Room and Wine Bar on St Andrew’s Hill on 12 April. Alcohol worth more than £400 was stolen in both incidents.
Eames is also accused of interfering with a motor vehicle (Nissan Juke) between 2 and 3 February, using threatening behaviour on 14 February and stealing a coat worth £109 belonging to Seven Wolves.
Eames was remanded in police custody to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court this morning.
