Police link Hockwold burglaries

Detectives are appealing for information following two burglaries in South Street in Hockwold, near Mundford, on Wednesday (12 December).

The first incident happened at about 4pm when suspect(s) tried to gain access to a garage and shed but no entry was gained and nothing was stolen.

Officers are investigating a second incident, thought to be linked, which happened between around the same time when suspect(s) broke into a garage before entering the house after forcing a door. An untidy search was carried out and jewellery was stolen.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed either incident or noticed anything unusual in the area between the times stated.
