Road rage incident in Gorleston

Police are appealing for witnesses to a road rage incident in Gorleston.

It happened at approximately 10.45am on Wednesday 1 November.

The driver of a white Ford Focus was stopped at the traffic lights on Lowestoft Road, near to the James Paget Hospital, when the male driver of a silver Vauxhall Insignia left his vehicle and approached.

The driver of the Insignia then became involved in a verbal altercation with the female passenger in the Ford Focus, before assaulting her.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or the sequence of events leading up to it, should contact PC Jon Silom at Great Yarmouth Police Station on 101.
