Man sadly dies in fatal road collision - Great Witchingham

Police roads investigation

A man has sadly died following a road collision on the A1067 at Great Witchingham this morning, Monday 13 November 2017.

It happened on Fakenham Road shortly before 9am, when a white VW Caddy van, a red Honda Civic, a black Vauxhall Corsa and a grey Seat Ateca were in collision.

The driver of the van, a man aged in his 20s, sadly died at the scene.

The occupants of the other vehicles sustained minor injuries.  

The road remains closed at this time.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has information concerning the driving manner of any of the vehicles prior to the incident.

Witnesses should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team (SCIT) at Wymondham on 101.


Police on scene of serious road collision - Great Witchingham

Police are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision in Great Witchingham.

Officers were called shortly before 9am today, Monday 13 November 2017, to reports of a collision involving four vehicles on Fakenham Road.

The road will be closed whilst emergency services attend and is likely to be for some time.

Diversions will be put in place; however motorists are being urged to find alternative routes where possible.
