Police investigate incident in Great Ellingham

Police are appealing for information following an incident in Great Ellingham earlier this week.

A woman was walking a dog on Mill Lane at around 8.30pm on Tuesday 11 June when she was approached by a man who touched her inappropriately. It’s believed the man ran away after being bitten by the dog.

The victim also believes she may have passed out following the incident but was not injured.

Officers are currently trying to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident and are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time to contact them.

There will be additional patrols in the area over the coming days to reassure local residents and anyone with information is encouraged to speak to them.
