Witnesses sought following fatal road collision - Bradwell

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman died following a fatal road collision in Bradwell on Tuesday (13 February 2018).

Officers were called shortly after 6.30am to reports of a collision between a black Yamaha motorbike and a pedestrian on Beccles Road.

The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 60s, was taken to the James Paget Hospital, where she sadly died.

The male motorcyclist, aged in his 50s, sustained minor injuries.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, particularly anyone who saw the woman, who was dressed in a khaki-green hooded coat, or the driving manner of the motorcyclist prior to the incident.

Witnesses should contact PC Martyn Holmes at the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Wymondham on 101.

Woman sadly dies after fatal road collision - Bradwell

Police can confirm a woman has died following a fatal road collision in Bradwell this morning, Tuesday 13 February 2018.

Officers were called shortly after 6.30am to reports of a collision between a motorcyclist and a pedestrian on Beccles Road.

The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 60s, was taken to the James Paget Hospital, where she sadly died.

The male motorcyclist, aged in his 50s, sustained minor injuries.

The road was closed at Mallard Way and Crab Lane whilst emergency services attended, however is expected to re-open shortly.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, particularly anyone who saw the manner of the vehicle or pedestrian prior to the incident.

Witnesses should contact the Roads Policing Team at Acle on 101.

Police currently on scene of serious road collision - Bradwell

Police are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision at Bradwell.

Officers were called shortly after 6.30am this morning, Tuesday 13 February to reports of a collision between a motorcyclist and a pedestrian on Beccles Road.

The road has been closed at Mallard Way and Crab Lane whilst emergency services attend. Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
