Police appeal following serious RTC on the A11

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision which happened on the A11 last night (Thursday 12 October 2018).

At approximately 8.30pm a black Renualt Clio and a white Vauxhall Corsa collided near to Station Lane in Ketteringham.

The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa – a woman in her 20s - was taken to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital with life threatening injuries where she remains.

The driver of the Renault Clio was uninjured and their passenger received minor injuries.

The occupants of the Renault, a man and woman aged in their 20s from Norwich, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. They were taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre where they remain for questioning.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the manner of driving before the collision.
