Woman sadly dies following fatal road collision in Martham

Police can confirm a woman has died following a road traffic collision in Martham yesterday (Tuesday 12 June 2018).

Officers were called shortly before 11am to reports of a collision involving a car on The Green opposite the Royal China takeaway.

Sadly the female driver of the blue Ford Fiesta died at the scene.

The road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident and re-opened at 3pm.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or the manner of driving of the vehicle prior to the incident, should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Norfolk Police on 101.

Police are particularly keen to trace the driver of a scaffolding HGV whom may have witnessed the collision.

Officers were called shortly before 11am this morning (Tuesday 12 June 2018) to reports of a collision involving a car on The Green opposite the Royal China takeaway.

The road has been closed whilst emergency services are in attendance and motorists are being advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
