Man charged with firearms and drug offences - Keswick

A 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with firearms and drug offences after an incident in Keswick yesterday, Monday 11 June 2018.

It’s after a warrant was carried out by officers and the RSPCA in relation to the Animal Welfare Act at a site in Mangreen Lane around 9am.

Enquiries led officers to a property where a number of cannabis plants were seized as well as loaded firearms and ammunition.

Leo Price, of Mangreen Lane, Keswick, was arrested and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning. He was subsequently charged with possession of ammunition, two counts of possession of a firearm, without holding a certificate, and producing a Class B drug, namely cannabis.

Following an appearance before Magistrates Court this morning, Tuesday 12 June, Price has been released on bail to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 10 July 2018.
