Cyclist injured in collision

A cyclist suffered serious injuries following a collision involving two cars near NorthWalsham on Sunday (6 October 2019).

The incident happened in the early hours just before 1.30am when a car was involved in a collision with a cyclist, riding on the B1150 North Walsham Road, between North Walsham and Westwick, near the junction with Heath Road.

After falling from his bike, the cyclist was involved in a collision with a second vehicle which was travelling behind the first car. Neither vehicle stopped at the scene. 

The cyclist, a male aged in his late teens, suffered serious injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening or changing.

Officers are keen to trace both the drivers of both vehicles as well as a taxi driver who is believed to have witnessed the incident.
