Fatal Collision - South Raynham

Police can confirm that a man has died following a collision at South Raynham in the early hours of this morning (Sunday 8 September).

Police were called at approximately 3.20am following a collision between a brown Range Rover and a silver Mazda on the A1065 between South Raynham and Weasenham St Peter.

The Mazda was travelling towards Fakenham and the Range Rover was travelling towards Swaffham.

The driver of the Mazda, a man believed to be in his 20s, sadly died at the scene. Two people travelling in the Range Rover suffered serious injuries and were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

The road was closed whilst officers carried out enquiries and reopened just after 10.30am.

Any witnesses to the collision, or drivers with dashcam footage are asked to contact Sgt Peter Howlett at the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101, or email [email protected] quoting incident number 47 of Sunday 8 September.

Norfolk Police are currently at the scene of a serious collision at South Raynham.

Police were called at approximately 3.20am this morning (Sunday 8 September) following a collision between two vehicles on the A1065 at South Raynham.

The A1065 road remains closed between Weasenham St Peter and South Raynham whilst officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Team carry out enquiries.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
