Car damaged in Roughton

Police are appealing for witnesses after three men damaged a car in Roughton, near Cromer.

The incident happened on Christmas Day (25 December 2018) at about 11.10pm when the victim was driving home on the B1436 Chapel Road passing the entrance to the fishing lakes when three men jumped out in front of the car causing the victim to stop.

The suspects began damaging the car, kicking the front bumper and headlights before the victim drove off.

Officers believe other vehicles may have been targeted in the same way that evening, although no other incidents were reported to police.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning it.
