Man sadly dies following Kirby Cane road collision

Police can confirm a man has died following a road traffic collision in Kirby Cane this morning (Saturday 6 October 2018).

Officers were called to Loddon Road just after midnight to reports that a grey Peugeot had left the road and collided with a tree.

The driver of the car – a man in his 40s – was taken to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital with life threatening injuries.

Sadly, he died at hospital earlier today.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the manner of driving before the collision.

Police appeal following serious RTC at Kirby Cane

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision in Kirby Cane, south of Loddon.

It happened just after midnight this morning, Saturday 6 October 2018, on Loddon Road when a Grey Peugeot 307 has left the road and collided with a tree.

The driver of the Peugeot – a man in his 40s - was taken to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital with life threatening injuries where he remains.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the manner of driving before the collision.
