Teenager dies in Tasburgh collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision at Tasburgh yesterday (Wednesday 3 October 2018).

It happened shortly before 5.30pm on the A140, near to the junction with Quaker Lane, when a grey Fiat 500 travelling towards Diss left the road and collided with a tree.

The driver, a 17-year-old female, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and re-opened at about 10.30pm.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision of has information concerning the driving manner of the Fiat prior to the incident.

Police are particularly interested in speaking with the drivers of a dark coloured BMW 1 Series, dark coloured five-door Ford Fiesta, blue Peugeot 307 and a white Ford Transit van, seen travelling towards Norwich around the time of the collision.

Officers are also interested in any dash cam evidence witnesses may have captured.
