Witness appeal after incident in Norwich city centre

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Norwich this morning (Tuesday 3 July).

Officers were called to Gentleman’s Walk at 8.10am to reports of a man kicking a dog and being verbally abusive to members of the public.

A man in his 20’s has since been arrested on suspicion of public order offences, animal cruelty and threats to commit criminal damage.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone with information, should contact Sergeant Mark Shepherd at Bethel Street Police Station on 101.
