Appeal following robbery in Norwich

Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery in Norwich.

It happened between 5.30pm and 5.45pm on Monday 30 October.

A woman in her 20s was approached by a man in an alleyway between Furze Road and St Williams Way and demanded she hand over her purse. The victim handed over her purse before the suspect made off towards St Williams Way.

The victim was not injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as white, aged between 25 and 28-years-old, approximately 6ft tall, of slim build with a dark unkempt beard. It is believed he was wearing a dark coloured baseball cap, a dark coloured jumper, tight fitting dark coloured trousers and white trainers. It’s also believed the suspect was holding a dark coloured Adidas shoulder bag.
