This post will be based at the busy Hethersett Old Hall, supporting the Learning and Development Team realign this site as its Centre of Excellence. You will be a central point of contact for Hethersett Old Hall Centre matters concerning estates, facilities and health and safety.

You will work to the Chief Inspector, Learning and Development Department surrounding the wider commercial aspects of this site being responsible for cash management and goods ordering. You will also support the broader Learning and Development Department in maximising the Hethersett site and coordinating rooms and meetings to ensure the site is managed effectively.

These duties must be carried out to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be based at the Hethersett Old Hall, with the ability to travel to other stations when required.

The CPC Administrator role is one which works on flexi time as per policy and pro rata allowances.  

It is essential that applicants meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Good numeracy and literacy skills
  2. Good keyboard skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  3. Previous experience in a general administration or facility management role
  4. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels within the Constabulary 
  5. Demonstrate good organisational skills to manage own workload and meet deadlines
  6. Ability to find appropriate solutions to problems using own initiative and as part of a team 
  7. Ability to travel as required and attend meetings at any location in Norfolk or Suffolk as required. 
  8. Proven ability to accurately compose documents and presentation material 

 

It is desirable that applicants meet the following criteria:

  1. Previous experience of maintaining financial records of income and expenditure
  2. Basic knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
  3. Previous project experience

 

Hours of work are normal office hours on the standard police staff contract (Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 with a 36 minute rest break and on the flexi-time scheme). This post is offered on a temporary basis.
