Misconduct Hearing

Summary of conduct alleged:
On 29th April 2023 a group of work colleagues met for a social event in Norwich. At the same time officer was attending a ‘stag do’; he attended a few licence premises in the city. At one he initially met Ms A and subsequently saw her elsewhere in the city. During the evening the officer made sexualised comments towards her and engaged in unwanted sexual behaviour. It is also alleged that the officer failed to appropriately engage with the Professional Standards Department in respect of matters associated with his mobile telephone.

This is a public hearing and as such the public and members of the media are permitted to attend. Interim anonymity applies to the officer pending formal application by the officer and determination by Legally Qualified Chair ahead of the hearing. Any application to attend the hearing should be made by 12:00 hours on Thursday 28th November 2024 by completing the ‘Apply to attend a misconduct hearing’ via the Norfolk Constabulary website.
